Electromagnetic Compatibility Tests
The EMC laboratory equipment enables performing the following tasks:
- testing immunity of the tested device to electromagnetic radiation
- measuring the level of electromagnetic interference radiated by the tested device
- testing immunity to conducted disturbances, including BCI tests
- measuring the level of electromagnetic conducted disturbances
- testing immunity to electrostatic discharge (ESD)
- testing immunity to transients, surges, voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations on the AC or DC supply voltage
The most noticeable part of the EMC laboratory is a semi-anechoic chamber and its shielded control room, which are used to carry out emissions measurement and immunity tests in an EM field at a measurement distance of 1 m and 3 m. The high-power state-of-the-art equipment allows performing immunity tests in an electromagnetic field with a guaranteed intensity of up to 200 V/m in a frequency range of 80 MHz - 18 GHz.
